We take immense pride to share the outstanding achievement of SBM, NMIMS, Navi Mumbai students, who secured the fifth position globally and claimed the top position in India at the CAPSIM International Competition. Under the mentorship of Dr. Nitin Balwani, Associate Dean, Akanksha Raje, Sanjana Bhagtani, Sarthak Kumar, and Somya Kothari showcased remarkable skills during the 2023 Capstone Fall Challenge.
In this fiercely contested competition, where over a thousand business students participated worldwide, the team demonstrated resilience and adaptability in tackling the challenges of an ever-changing business landscape. Engaging in a virtual CAPSIM Business Simulation, the students strategically managed multi-million-dollar companies, earning them a coveted spot among the top six finalists.
Participants from leading universities in Australia, Canada, China, Egypt, England, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, South Korea, South Africa, Thailand, Turkey, and the United States took part in the Fall 2023 Challenge. This accomplishment not only highlights the individual excellence of the students but also reinforces SBM, NMIMS, Navi Mumbai's standing as an institution fostering business leaders capable of thriving in the dynamic global business milieu.
