MISSION STATEMENT
To organize various business events throughout the year in order to give our students a platform to experience the corporate world and develop skills that would help them create a competitive advantage over others. We also aim to motivate and shape the perspective of students towards various business aspects.
OBJECTIVES OF THE COMMITTEE
The Business Event Management Committee is committed to organize various business events involving the corporate world such as business conclaves, guest sessions, business competitions etc. The committee structure includes an apex body consisting of president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, sponsorship head and executive members.
AGENDA FOR A COMPLETE YEAR
The committee aims at conducting the 3rd flagship event ‘Avion” of NMIMS Navi Mumbai in a much larger scale than before and continuing with the legacy of Avion build a stronger and larger connect with the corporate world. The work for the same is expected to span out for the first two trimesters of the academic year 2019-2020 which would include the entire process of event planning, guest invitations, sponsorship acquisition and various other related processes required for its successful operation. In the last Trimester of the academic year, the committee plans to hold a Panel Discussion / Debate Competition involving delegates from the corporate world to further enhance the corporate purview of our students and help then gain wider experience by interacting with the dignitaries.
