INAUGURATION CEREMONY I PGDM (2018-20)

Monday 4th June 2018 10.00 am

SVKM's NMIMS Navi Mumbai celebrated its Inauguration Day for its 2nd batch for PGDM (2018-2020) on 4th June 2018. It was a landmark day for all at NMIMS Navi Mumbai as they extended a warm welcome to their 2nd PGDM batch. The celebration was a salute to new beginnings and fresh starts as the new batch moved forward to embrace a new perspective—a fresh look at the future and all the wonderful possibilities it holds.

The Inauguration Ceremony was embellished with the presence of Distinguished Guest - GUEST OF HONOUR MR. SANJAY BAJAJ, EX-MD, HEAD OF EQUITY CAPITAL MARKET, HSBC SECURITIES & CAPITAL MARKETS INDIA PVT. LTD., CHIEF GUEST MR. BHASKAR SHARMA, CEO, REDBULL INDIA LTD, and OUR ESTEEMED GUEST MR. KETAN SHAH. The Ceremony was presided over by DR. B.S. SAHAY, ADVISOR TO THE CHANCELLOR, SVKM'S NMIMS.

The festivities began on an auspicious note, the Saraswati Vandana - by invoking the Goddess of Learning Saraswati and seeking her blessings. All the esteemed Guests, Dr Sahay, Dr Mukherjee (Director, NMIMS Navi Mumbai) and Dr. Kumar (Associate Dean – SBM, NMIMS Navi Mumbai) flagged off the session with the traditional lamp lighting. This was followed by the NMIMS Anthem.

Dr. Mukherjee presented the Welcome Address and shared words of wisdom to motivate the new batch. Dr. B.S. Sahay, Advisor to Chancellor, NMIMS Mumbai Campus, shared his valuable insights and perspectives with the students and his inspiring words will resonate in the student's minds for a long time.

This was followed by extremely inspirational addresses by our Guest of Honor, Mr. Sanjay Bajaj, Our Chief Guest Mr. Bhaskar Sharma and our Esteemed Guest, Mr. Ketan Shah. It was an extremely stimulating and interactive session and the students were particularly excited by the fact that they were interacting with NMIMS Alumni.

The Inaugural Session was brought to a close BY DR. MANOJ KUMAR, PROFESSOR & ASSOCIATE DEAN, SVKM'S NMIMS, NAVI MUMBAI who proposed the Vote of Thanks and the Inauguration closed on a patriotic note with the National Anthem.
