Teaching Experience: 24 years

Manjari Srivastava has been associated with SBM NMIMS since 2007. At SBM, she has taken up various positions of responsibilities from SBM Faculty -in-charge, Faculty- in- charge Research, Programme Chair- PhD, Area Chair- HR and Associate Dean SBM, Navi Mumbai Campus.

Subject teaching:

Teaching for core MBA, MBA-HR and PhD programs.

  • Teaching courses both for first year and second year MBA students. Courses offered at MBA levels are – Organizational Behaviour, HRM, Organizational Research, Performance Management, Emotional Intelligence, Personal Mastery and Leadership, Learning and Development and HR Analytics.
  • Doctoral level courses include, seminars on ‘Theory building and research, Seminar in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management.’
  • Offers workshops for MBA students in "Leadership, Personal Effectiveness, Conflict Management, Assessment Centers, Assessment Techniques and Team Building.

Guiding Ph.D. Research-  Have successfully guided 12 doctoral students as their thesis supervisor and many others as thesis supervisory committee member. Currently three students are pursuing their PhD under my supervision.

  • Have been member of Expert Committee for Thermal Energy and Coal Mining under Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Govt. of India as social scientist.
  • Panel member with National Board of Accreditation under AICTE to conduct accreditation audits for various management institutes in India.

Service to the University

  • Have been the part of core committee to develop and establish MBA HR Program at SBM. The program is running successfully since 2012 and pride of SBM.
  • Have been faculty –in-Charge for SBM, Vile Parle, Faculty -in-charge for students’ literary cell ‘Mantavya.’ The responsibility entails guiding and monitoring students’ activity for the cell.
  • Involvement in institute’s selection process both for students and faculty.
  • Instituted selection process for students specializing in Human Resource Management by setting up assessment center as a coordinated effort with area members.
  • Member of disciplinary Committee at the school.
  • Have taken responsibilities towards faculty coordination and delivery of courses across various programs in the institute.
  • Development of new courses and revision of course contents along with the area members.
  • Enabling faculty for performance and development, faculty mentoring.
  • My academic responsibilities lie not only for the course delivery but also providing mentoring to students. Guiding students’ projects and dissertations. Conducting workshops for students. Have also taught courses for Stevens University, USA in a joint collaboration with Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering, NMIMS University.
