The broad goals and objectives of the B.Sc. (Honours) Artificial Intelligence programme are as follows:

(i) To prepares students to developartificial intelligenceapplications.

(ii) To develop strong analytical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities that benefit graduates personally and professionally.

(iii) To open the door to new and exciting career paths.

(iv) To develop purposeful competencies in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

Course work delivered through class room teaching, assignments, DIY, group discussions, seminars, research initiatives and capstone projects

Evaluations carried out in terms of assignments, topic presentations, tests and TEE, Industry Internship

· AbundantAI career opportunitiesat various levels are present owing to wide applications in different fields. A few of these at the entry level are: AI Trainee, AI Researcher, Internee in ML, Business Intelligence Developer, AI Programmer.

Highlights of program

 

 

· Designed to reflect the aspirations of NEP 2020

· Core, Discipline Specific, Multi-Disciplinary Courses, Ability Enhancement, Skill Enhancement Courses, Practicals, Research and Internship, Core related Modular Electives courses well packaged into the curriculum consisting of 184 credits

· A 6-credit early initiation of undergraduate students into the culture of research in Year 2

· A 4-credit capstone AI project in semester 6 and 7

· Optional choice based of modular electives in semester 7

· A 20-credit full semester Industry Internship in semester 8

· Multiple exit options within the programme with appropriate certifications

Selection Procedure

 

 

Based on the merit list prepared by taking into consideration of Eligibility criterion; Entrance Test & PI will be conducted.

Eligibility

 

 

Candidates seeking admission to the B.Sc. (Honours) AI programme shall have passed their class 12th exam from a recognised Board in any stream with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks, with at least 50 % marks in Mathematics.
