NMIMS Navi Mumbai was indeed privileged to have Mr. Sameer Soni, Director, International Business from Times of India Group, to deliver an enriching session on the topic "Emergence from the Exponential Future". His innovative way of delivery enticed the audience. He urged the students to come out of their comfort zone and explore the UNKNOWN because "Amazing things happen when you explore the unknown." He gave the students three simple tips: 1) Break The Captivity 2) Have A Parallel Story 3) Imagination - Imagine to create something.
He answered the obvious question - "Why Don't we emerge?" and explained that it is the limitations that we as individuals set for ourselves, that hinder our growth. Mr. Soni also shared with us the biological processes supported by the brain that help us reach our dreams and goals and made it a more believable act to achieve the impossible.
His analogy of a seed evolving into
a tree was the example he used to make the audience understand the underlying
process between "Destiny Concealed" to "Destiny Revealed"
and he left us to ponder over the following thought.. "if God and people
should be interested in you..how interesting should you be?.."
